Our HOSTING ORGANIZATIONS, members of ERASMUSNET, arrange in different locations across Europe, Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Training Courses, which are aimed at staff working at all levels of education both in teaching and non-teaching capacities. Most of the courses are planned for staff working in pre-primary, primary and secondary schools, higher education institutions and adult education centers. 

Our courses are dynamic, modern, tailored to each participant group needs and objectives. The added value of our trainings is that they are not simply "in class" moments of non-formal education, but they are rich in moments of observation and exchange of opinions. For each course, we include visits and meetings with experts and other teacher/staff from the country you are visiting. We want to provide you a chance to see what happens in real life situations in whichever country you decide to visit for your training course. 

Moreover, we deeply believe in the importance of the practical application of learning; therefore, after each "in class" session we manage to include workshops aimed at assimilating the new ideas, methods and tools we introduced in the main session. This wants to be an occasion to see how those new ideas, methods and tools can be applied in your real life context.

Courses can be attended in different locations and that is what makes it all more interesting and varied.

              If your group is composed by 6+ participants, we might be able to arrange the couse also in other moments of the year, independently from the set sessions. 


Intro to Computer Science & Programming Skills

This course is aimed at participants with little or no programming experience. It aims to provide an understanding of the role computation can play in solving problems. It also aims to help, regardless of their major, to feel justifiably confident of their ability to write small programs that allow them to accomplish useful goals. 

MINT Education

MINT is an intensive course to prepare High School graduates to deepen the essential level of engineering subjects and natural sciences.  This course is modularized to a high extent and consists of lectures, presentations and activities in different disciplines. 

Teacher Training on STEM Education

STEM (Science,   Technology,   Engineering   and   Mathematics)   is   a   program   that encourages people to develop interest and skills in these fields, with an emphasis on research, enquiry, and practical interaction. This course displays the initiatives undertaken to build and promote strong social presence in STEM & Robotics in the education field.

Diversity and Gender Equality in the School

This   course develops concepts as gender  equality   andequity,   intersectionality   (disability,   class,   race)   and   sexuality  and   gender   identities   and   the deconstruction   of  sexist  language  and  prejudices  in   the educational  setting.  It   analyzes  the dominant gender norms as the "ideal-type" of masculine and feminine identities, and the social roles associated with stereotypes in the education system.

Teaching Approaches in the Digital Era

This course constitutes a practical guide that helps to improve the quality and effectiveness of educational process in any classroom, developing the teachers’   skills   of   integrating   smart   technology   in   the   classroom.   The   course   modules will broaden the teaching potential and motivate the students, by encouraging creativity, organizing projects, integrating minority pupils or using ICT as a tool for developing critical thinking.

Technology, Communication and Media in the School

This  course discusses the use of different digital tools to stimulate inclusion and freedom of expression. It also develops contents related to the on-line exposure – as fake news, virtual plagiarism and cyberbullying - and  the tools  to provide  digital safety and responsible use of  digital  media. Furthermore, we consider strategies for the use of digital technologies to engage in collaboration with other educators, helping to delineate new school scenarios and new ways of stimulating the paths to knowledge and effective learning. The methodology is based on non-formal education setup, where participants are able to learn, express themselves and exchange experience through group exercises and site visits.

Beyond the School Walls: Active Citizenship, Community and Network

We consider the responsibilities of all participants involved (government, teachers, school staff, families and students) focusing on the bond among them. It is discussed how to engage parents in the school environment and the children’s support at home, guaranteeing their achievement in the classes. It debates how to develop the engagement of the school and the community members, specially students, in the local environment and the conduction of campaigns to initiate changes. 
Game-based Learning and Gamification
The learning  achievements  of  students with game-based learning are better   than   those   who   use   the   traditional   face-to-face   teaching.   This   course   will   focus   on theoretical   input   of   gamification   and  approaches   to  introduce   more   game-based   learning   indifferent countries and across school subjects; it will have a strong focus on responsible and successful implementation of educational games and gamification in the classroom.  

Disability - The Value of Difference

"Just as gender is more than chromosomes and race is more than skin color, disability is more than an individual impairment" (Ferguson & Nusbaum, E., 2012). This course will go through all forms of disabilities. You will get to know how local schools are dealing with the differ issues both at an educational and legal level. The course will also provide you with tools to foster inclusivity and to create an environment in which non-disabled students can work with disabled ones in order to know each other better and to learn to appreciate their differences. 

Digital Classroom Management

The main aim of this course is to enable its participants to enhance their soft competencies and to work on their emotional intelligence, while, at the same time, mastering concrete tools and activities to be used with the pupils, in order to support them in developing their emotional intelligence skills. This environment will foster excellence and innovation in education, by equipping teachers and education staff with the basic knowledge and skills about classroom management strategies.
Moodle Training for Teachers
This approach sees learning as a creative social process, as much as it is an individual one, where people learn together by investigating, analyzing, collaborating, sharing, and reflecting. This course wants to guide you through discovering the tool and learn the best ways in which you can fit it into your educational context. 
Moodle at School
Just a few years ago Moodle was an unknown tool. Today, it has become one of the major phenomena at the educational level, as it finds its roots in the philosophy of collaborative learning, often referred to as social constructionist pedagogy. This approach sees learning as a creative social process, as much as it is an individual one, where people learn together by investigating, analyzing, collaborating, sharing, and reflecting. This course wants to guide you through discovering the tool and learn the best ways in which you can fit it into your educational context. 
IBL: Inquiry Based Learning in Practice
In an IBL classroom, the students are the most active participants in the room, which makes it much harder for them to just passively sit and drift through the course. Whether the students are working in groups on specific subjects investigations or critiquing solutions that are presented by other students, they are the ones asking questions, making statements, and discussing them with their peers rather than the teacher. The latter, however, has a major role in making this happen. This course is aimed at discovering all the positive aspects of the IBL methodology, to observe it in real life classes and to acquire tools that you can use in your own classroom to optimize it for IBL. 

SEL - Social and Emotional Learning

"Social and emotional learning (SEL) enhances students’ capacity to integrate skills, attitudes, and behaviors to deal effectively and ethically with daily tasks and challenges" (CASEL). Applying SEL into your schools, requires a strategic approach, which you will learn in this course. 

Creativity in the Classroom

"Creativity and innovation are becoming increasingly important for the development of the 21st century knowledge society. They contribute to economic prosperity as well as to social and individual wellbeing and are essential factors for a more competitive and dynamic Europe. Education is seen as central in fostering creative and innovative skills" (Ferrari, A., Cachia, R., & Punie, Y., 2009). Thus, this training course is focused on providing you with all the tools to boost creativity in your classroom. 

CLIL for Learning

"CLIL refers to situations where subjects, or parts of subjects, are taught through a foreign language with dual-focused aims, namely the learning of content, and the simultaneous learning of a foreign language" (Marsh, 2002). Ensuring that students understand the content, reducing teacher-talk, increasing the focus on skills, influencing publishers to do likewise and getting students to learn language items that are always contextualised, always functionally necessary in the classroom are all great reasons to know the CLIL methodology better to implement it in your curricula, which is what this course wants to help you with. 

Interculturality @ School - Methods & Practices

Although we belong to different ethnic, cultural, religious, and linguistic groups, we all live under the same "roof." In order to be able to live TOGETHER, we need to get to know and respect our neighbor, to eliminate the “us” and “them” barriers, to promote common values such as integration, cooperation and tolerance. Through this course you will get to know numerous tools that will help you deal with intercultural environments.

The Montessori Method of Teaching Applied

The Montessori Method of education, developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, is a child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations of children from birth to adulthood. It is an approach that values the human spirit and the development of the child physically, socially, emotionally, cognitively. This course will go through the main steps your need to be aware of in order to apply the method in your own school environment.
